As we are about to the enter the season of Advent, it is a good time to look back and take time to reflect on our relationship with Christ. Advent is a time of preparing, anticipating, reflecting and being thankful. As a worshipping community, we will be considering these in our own preparations as Christmas draws nearer.
Throughout Advent we will continue with our commitment to the poor. Once again we will focus on Mary’s Meals. Mary’s Meals work in developing countries and provide children with a meal a day in schools. This allows then to continue their education. The cost to feed one child is £15.00 per year and we are asking each form to raise this over the 4 weeks of Advent.
During Advent we will publish times of Christmas Masses throughout the area and there will be opportunities in school for our students to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We will end the term with a service in preparation for the joyous coming of Christ, our Saviour at Christmas.
|May we take the opportunity to wish you all every blessing this holy season brings us.|
