The Silent Child won an Oscar for Best Short Film at The Oscars this week. Past St Margaret Ward pupil Bryony Pulizzi was an assistant director on the team that made the film, and was lucky enough to be present at the awards. As a student Bryony was passionate about the arts, and was determined to make a career in the entertainment industry. After studying in both Britain and America, Bryony, who has also worked with children with disabilities, landed a job at Media City in Manchester.
It is wonderful to see her hard work and determination pay off in an area that can be difficult to break into, and we look forward to seeing her continue to be successful in the future.
