Stronger Together Information

Dear Head teacher,

Over the next few months, we will be attending more than 100 events across the city, talking to people who live and work in Stoke-on-Trent to help address the issues that matter to them.

Throughout August, September and October residents, community groups and businesses will get the chance to ask questions, give ideas and help to take action on the priorities they have identified in order to make a difference in their area.

The Stronger Together partnership is committed to working with local people to achieve the changes that they would like to see happen in their communities. Your support will be an integral part of this approach, as you work for and with our residents, on a daily basis. The results of this programme should benefit your hospital and help to improve the lives of your patients in the future.

There are two short surveys that we need as many people as possible to complete; the general survey asks a range of questions about how residents feel about the city and how they can contribute to improving it. There is also another survey that focuses specifically on 'Health and Wellbeing' issues.

We would like to work with you and need your help to make this community engagement programme a success. We would really appreciate it if you would encourage all parents and carers of your pupils to complete the surveys.

This can be done in your regular ways of communication such as text message, email or school newsletter.

More information about Stronger Together, what we are trying to achieve, and how people can get involved, can be found at stoke.gov.uk/StrongerTogether
