Student Home Study
The school has set up a dedicated area which is accessible through the school website by using the following link. https://smwca.sharepoint.com/sites/HomeStudy
Please click on the appropriate year group and then you will find a folder listed by subject.
Students, please click on the link to view instructions on how to access Access SharePoint at home
Please note it will not be possible to return work to school in this way. Pages could be printed, or work should be competed in exercise books.
To supplement this students can also access information and learning through the following new national remote learning initiatives:
https://www.thenational.academy/online-classroom– work designed to be completed remotely put together by a group of teaching staff from around the country who have designed lessons for a virtual school.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons– daily lessons in a range of subjects which will allow students to embed and extend their knowledge and explore topics in greater detail.
The following resources have been created and launched by the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service. They are interactive road safety workbooks. Module 1 has a focus on essential journeys. Module 2 focuses on drivers and Module 3 focuses on Pedestrians. When complete, please submit this work to Mrs Farrer.
