Mass for Careworkers: The Bishops of England and Wales are taking it in turns to celebrate Mass in their Diocesan Cathedrals each Thursday evening at 7:00pm

On Monday 29th June we celebrated the Good Shepherd Mass.  This year, it was a little different being celebrated via web cam from St Chad’s Cathedral in Birmingham.  The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Bernard Longely and we were able to join in the celebration from our homes and school.  Students in school came together  to pray and worship, whilst some of our Lasallian Ambassadors represented us from home.  The Mass was beautiful and focused on the work of Hudson’s care.

The Mass was a timely reminder for  us all about how we are there for each other and help each other in our times of need.  This has been very much in our minds during these difficult times.  We were able to pray for each other, our schools and community.  We were also able to give thanks for all the people in our lives who bring love and work for the glory of God.  It was amazing, although we were distant, we could still join with other schools across the Diocese in a time of prayer and reflecton.
