Spiritual Driver: THE PURPOSE OF THIS PHYSICAL EDUCATION IS TO NURTURE THE WHOLE PERSON—BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT—BY PROMOTING AND ACTIVE AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. THROUGH MINDFUL MOVEMENT, COOPERATIVE ACTIVITIES, AND REFLECTIVE PRACTICES, STUDENTS DEVELOP PHYSICAL COMPETENCE, RESPECT FOR OTHERS, AND DEVELOP RESILIENCE ROOTED IN SPIRITUAL VALUES.
The purpose the Physical Education Curriculum is to develop students’ physical, cognitive, social, and affective competencies through diverse activities and pedagogical models, fostering lifelong engagement in healthy, active lifestyles. The curriculum integrates Catholic Social Teaching principles—such as solidarity, stewardship, participation, and human dignity—into physical education, ensuring that learning promotes not only skill acquisition and fitness but also character development, teamwork, and respect for others.
