Go4Set Train Station Competition

Last week 6 of our students, H Clough, A Siby, A Thavarasa, J Stevens, L Mellor and E Kaur Kaller, took part in the Go4Set competition to re-design a train station to make it more environmentally friendly and more appealing to the public.
Our students went to visit Birmingham New Street and then set about re-designing Stoke station under the guidance of Mr Foster and Miss O’Neil.
On Tuesday 18th June they presented their project along with drawings, a model and a written report to a panel at the Big Bang Fair at Staffordshire University.
They came second (missing out by just one vote!) out of 25 teams and received a commendation for their work as a team and the quality of their project.
Huge congratulations to all those involved!
