On Monday 11th November Mr Cartwright and Mrs Hodgkinson took 9 pupils down to Tunstall Cenotaph.  The pupils were a credit to the school.
Wadood volunteered to say a prayer, Jason is an Army Cadet and Jessica and Leah are Scouts.
Even though it was extremely cold and they had to stand for a long time, not one of them complained.
The laying of the wreaths, prayer and the 2 minutes silence was very moving for us all. It was 100 years yesterday from the first Remembrance Day.
We all felt honoured to be a part of the service.
