STEM Olympics

Year 10 competed against each other in the SMW inter-form STEM Olympics on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th January. They had the opportunity to chat with some people with very exciting STEM related jobs and take part in some A- level practical work.

They had an amazing time and impressed us with their skills and knowledge. We were so proud!

After an exhausting 2 days for both students and staff, the winners were announced:

Physics winners – 10-2

Maths winners 10-1

Chemistry winners – 10-6

Biology winners – 10-4

The overall SMW STEM Olympics winners were 10-7! Although they didn’t come first in any individual tasks, they consistently came 2nd or 3rd.  A massive congratulations to Ayousha K, Madison L, Matilda R, Amelia R and Ann J.
