An overwhelming number of our young people took part in activities from speaking in lower school assemblies, arranging and updating noticeboards, setting up a ‘Calm Room’ at lunchtime, making and selling yellow ribbon badges and selling them to staff and 6th form, wearing yellow and making donations in support of Young Minds.

So far, they have raised £120 with monies still coming in.

Moreover, their vibrancy and enthusiasm has helped spread the word that mental health affects us all, should be talked about and understood and there are things we can do to stay well.

In the event that things escalate or don’t improve over time, it’s absolutely okay to reach out and ask for help.  Nothing lasts forever… including difficult times.
