Helping our students to make positive choices

On Monday our Year 8 students experienced a powerful and engaging assembly delivered by the Smashed Project.

Through live theatre and discussion, students explored the risks and consequences of underage drinking, encouraging them to think carefully about the choices they make and the pressures they may face.

This visit formed part of our Touching Hearts curriculum, which supports students in making positive, informed choices and developing the confidence to resist peer pressure. Through engaging storytelling and interactive reflection, students were encouraged to think carefully about the impact of their choices and how to keep themselves and others safe. It also links to Catholic Social Teaching, reminding us of the importance of respecting the dignity of every person and caring for our own wellbeing and that of others.

A big thank you to the cast for such a thought-provoking and memorable session for our students.
