An evening at the movies!

On Monday 7th July, our school hall was transformed into a spectacular celebration of cinema and song for our Movie Magic performance — and what an unforgettable evening it was!

Featuring a selection of music from the movies, the concert showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our students. From powerful solos to energetic ensemble numbers, the audience was treated to a night of entertainment that truly lived up to its name.

Miss Hayes and Mrs Smith, could not be prouder of everything the students achieved. Their hard work and passion shone through in every note, creating an atmosphere that was both electric and heart-warming.

This concert also marked a bittersweet moment, as we said goodbye to our amazing Year 11 students. Movie Magic was their final performance before heading off to college, and they went out on a high. It was a true celebration of their journey, filled with emotion and pride — a fitting farewell to a group who have given so much to our music department.

We were also thrilled to be joined by our Collegiate Choir, bringing together students from across our Collegiate community. It’s always a joy to see so many young people united by their love of music, singing their hearts out and supporting one another.

Movie Magic was more than just a concert — it was a celebration of talent, teamwork, and the power of music to bring people together. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported this special evening. We can’t wait to do it all again!
