This autumn term, students across the Newman Catholic Collegiate will be fundraising for the Society of Saint Vincent De Paul (also known as SVP).
To kick start this initiative, students from across the primary schools visited St Margaret Ward to share the work they have been doing in the ‘Mini-Vinnie’ groups to help raise money and support the most vulnerable in our communities.
Students from St John’s Catholic Academy in Kidsgrove, St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Goldenhill, St Mary’s Catholic Academy in Norton and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy in Biddulph all spoke brilliantly; they were a real credit to their schools and really gave our students something to think about as we begin our fundraising!
