Cheese making at Reaseheath College

On Tuesday 18 October, Year 10 and 11 Food studies students visited Reaseheath College’s Food department to gain an insight into Industrial practice and experience of real-world scenarios.

Whilst there the students were given a guided tour of the department and enjoyed practical ‘hands on’ activities; making soft cheese with garlic and herbs or butter. The students who attended were an absolute delight in terms of behaviour and engagement. The Director of the Food Centre could not praise them highly enough.

A truly marvellous visit and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
