Our last live Christmas Concert was in 2019 and, after what feels like a lifetime, we finally had a live Christmas Concert on Tuesday 13th December.
It has been a busy term in the Music Department as rehearsals for this concert didn’t start until October due to our End of Summer Soiree in September.
The evening began traditionally with our choir, Voicebox singing “Once in Royal David’s City” and featured performances from our Senior Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, String Ensemble, Flute Choir, Recorder Ensemble and our Junior Orchestra also made their debut performance. Many students performed solos including Henry and Henry who are Y6 students at two of our partner primary schools.
Musical progression was shown throughout the concert and we can’t begin to describe how proud we are of all of our musicians.
