What an incredible day at the Recorder Festival!
Students performed brilliantly at the Recorder Festival in the Big Top Arena at Trentham Gardens, joining over 500 recorder players from schools across the city.
As the only secondary school attending, our students were fantastic role models for the many younger pupils taking part. They truly represented the school with confidence and enthusiasm — and their solo performance was outstanding!
A huge well done to all involved. Mrs Smith was extremely proud, and rightly so!
The day was packed with music, energy and fun, made even more memorable with a surprise appearance from Rumi, as everyone played along to songs from KPop Demon Hunters.
An awesome experience and a celebration of music-making together!
