Students join Samsung for live careers event

Yr 10 Digital Information Technology students took part in Samsung’s live careers week talk on 5 March.

Dr. Vinoba Vinayagamoorthy gave a talk about her route into Technology, in particular Virtual Reality.

We also heard from experts in design and climate impact. Students got an insight into product design and how society is more inclusive. Also, how Samsung are working towards a home that can be self-sustaining through the use of Technology including AI to control the power used in the home.

Students found out that there are many different routes into working within Samsung but that the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently, whilst working as part of a team were key skills.
