End of Summer Soirée

On Tuesday 27 September we had our first full school concert since December 2019! The evening began in style with our School Orchestra followed by a variety of solos from students in Y8 to Y13 and even a spectacular piano solo from an exchange student and a former student who is now studying at the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music.

We also welcomed our Collegiate choir to the concert, the choir from St Joseph’s Catholic Academy and our own school choir – Voicebox. The evening also featured our fabulous Jazz Orchestra, Recorder Ensemble and a Clarinet Trio.

It was an amazing feeling to perform to a full school hall and we can’t wait for our Christmas Concert!
