St. Margaret Ward Catholic Academy Celebrates Strong GCSE Results 

Students at St. Margaret Ward Catholic Academy celebrated today as the class of 2026 received their GCSE results. 

The Academy posted strong results in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Religious Education, Physical Education, Drama and Art plus, 40% of students achieved a 5 or above in both English and Maths. 

Principal Dominic McKenna said: 

“It’s an exciting day, and we’re really pleased to see so many successes and happy students.  

“We’re looking forward to welcoming some of the students back in September for their A Level studies. This shows a great example to the rest of the students in the school and shows they can achieve their goals at St. Margaret Ward.” 

Students who achieved positive results include Shaheer Kaleem who got seven 9 grades in Religious Education, Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature and Physics plus a Distinction Star in Level 2 Business Enterprise. 

Michal Krzciuk also achieved five 9 grades in Maths, Geography, Chemistry, Polish and Biology.  

OIivia Wild achieved four 9 grades in Maths, Biology, English Language and Geography plus a Distinction Star in Health and Social Care.
