The results are in!

At yesterday’s First Tech Challenge competition, our rookie team Sirius Robotics won the Motivate Award, given to the team with the best team spirit and determination!

Senior team VNATION made it to the semi-finals and then won the Inspire Award second place. The Inspire Award is the big one – it goes to the team(s) that inspire other teams because of their all round incredible performance.

The Inspire Award usually only has one winner, but unusually, the standard of the teams VNATION and Circuit Breakers/Octocore from St John Fisher was so high that they decided to give out an additional award! It’s so rare for them to do it that they need to go and make an additional trophy for VNATION, as they only brought one.

Which means…

VNATION are going to the national championships!

They will take a 2 day trip to the Copperbox Arena at the Olympic Park in London to compete with the best teams from across the country in the summer term! Well done to all involved in making this event a success.
