VNation at the First Tech Challenge National Championships

We would like to thank all the donors, mentors and supporters who helped VNation get to the FIRST Tech Challenge UK National Championship, including Myers & Co Solicitors & Kilncare Ltd who provided mentoring and financial support, Milton Utd & NASUWT Stoke-on-Trent for your donations, and the many individual donors and supporters who made this possible! Big thanks also to everyone at St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy for always being our biggest supporters!

Thanks to you, out of all of the teams in the UK, our little team from Stoke-on-Trent finished the qualifying matches at the UK National Championship in NINTH PLACE! Out of the hundreds of teams in the UK, we made joint ninth place after the qualifying rounds ended! We made it into the knock-out stages and in the end, we were an alliance captain of an alliance that finished joint sixth.

It’s our personal best and we’re so excited to improve even more next year. Thank you, everyone! Special thanks go to FIRST UK for running this amazing event, and all the volunteers who made it happen.

Well done to all the teams who won awards and all those who didn’t. We can’t wait to see you again next year!
