VNATION Outreach Assemblies

Following their success in winning the First Tech Challenge Qualifying Tournament in March, the VNATION robotics team have been on tour!

They visited Our Lady & St Benedict Catholic Academy and St George & St Martin Catholic Academy to deliver assemblies the whole school. They also visited Year 5 from St Joseph’s Catholic Academy.

They planned, practiced and delivered their assemblies themselves, and focused on sharing their love of STEM with the primary school students that they visited! They shared cool facts about STEM, interacted lots with their young audience, and even gave them a demonstration of their robot, Vegatron.

At the end of their assemblies they took a Q&A, where primary pupils could ask them questions about STEM, their robot and the competition. With each assembly, VNATION got better and better, and they are excited to meet more of our local primary school students throughout the year.
