Congratulations to our Year 11 Computer Science class for becoming the Codementum European Coding Competition 2025 winners in the high school category. Approximately 30,000 children participated across 3,000 classes in 36 countries, and the class ranked number one in Europe!
The group competed as a team to complete the coding challenge the most accurately in the fastest possible time. Students had to solve twenty programming challenges of increasing difficulty and earn a maximum of three stars for accuracy in each challenge, for a possible total of 60 stars overall. The group achieved 60 stars in an average time of 20 minutes. Last year, the same class won the 2024 International Coding Competition by ranking #1 in the world. They’ve developed a very competitive spirit and hope to repeat their win when the 2025 International Coding Competition launches in December. We wish them luck as they aim for another unbelievable win!
