Our students did an absolutely wonderful job at the Y8 speaking competition on Friday – Miss Kirkland and Mrs Mills as the judges were really struggling to pick a winner – the students were all so thoughtful and passionate about their subject.
The students that took part in this competition were:
The top three winners were:
1st Place – Evana and her speech on the fear of failure and being resilient
2nd Place – Alexis and her speech on the importance of equality in sports for women and girls
3rd Place – Emmanuel and his speech on corruption in Fiji
They all did wonderfully and should be really proud of themselves for their efforts. Well done year 8!
