This week is Children’s Mental Health Week (7-13 February 2022). This year’s theme is Growing Together. Resources on the following link will help you take part in the week.

On Sunday 30th January, Mr Walley and Mr Stevens completed the Heaton Park half-marathon, and Miss Hayes, Miss Schultz and Mr Bailey-Rigby competed the 10km and so far we have raised over £2000 to support the family of a beloved member of our school community, Uman.

We’re so proud of all our musicians who competed in the preliminary rounds of the Stoke-on-Trent Young Musician of the Year competition this week. HUGE congratulations to Isaac, Fiker, Faith & Daisy-Mae who won their classes & will compete in the final on the 18th March. 🎉🎤🎻🎸🎻

Mr McKenna cut the ribbon for the grand re-opening of the library after an 18 month closure and helped celebrated with some of our students.

Last term all pupils were given details about the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. If your Year 9 child is interested in the award and you would like more information (other than that already sent home in the pack) Mrs Whincup will be available to answer your questions in a Zoom meeting
